A few things to know.
What happens after 14 days?
Editing and new exports pause until you activate. Your original photographs, saved edits, and catalog remain intact.
Do I need to stay online?
Connect once to start the trial or activate. The trial then works offline until its end date. A paid license works offline for up to 30 days; a brief reconnect refreshes activation without another payment.
Can I move my license?
Yes. Deactivate the old Mac from License & Trial, then enter your code on the new one. A two-Mac license permits two simultaneous activations.
What am I buying?
A one-time license for the version sold to you, with no automatic renewal. Maintenance updates may be included; a future major upgrade may be offered separately.
What does activation send?
A hashed Mac identifier, a public device key, and the information needed to validate your trial or license. Your photographs and editing history are not uploaded.
