Batch output and prepare a print
Treat delivery and paper as part of the photographic workflow.
Batch export saves repetition; printing introduces a new viewing medium. A set of pictures that works on a luminous screen may need a different output size or sharpening intent on paper.
The method
Step by step.
- Select the intended photographs in Library. Verify the selection before opening a multi-image export or print workflow.
- Choose or create an Export Preset, then use Export Selected. The native high-bit background queue reports progress, can be cancelled, and leaves the visible Editor photograph in place.
- For a group of images, use the available contact-sheet or page-layout options, or choose the professional print command.
- Match output PPI, size, and sharpening intent to the destination. Print sharpening in this source distinguishes Glossy/Baryta from Matte/Fine Art.
- Make a small proof and inspect it under suitable light. Keep a record of paper, printer, profile, size, and settings when consistency matters.
